Meet the Designer

 

Welcome to Grace Designs Pattern Company! I am so happy you stopped by. My name is Rebecca and I am the designer behind GDPCo. I reside happily in Texas with my husband of 10 years, our three children that we homeschool, and a whole pack of beagles.

 I have always had a love for fashion and design and my mom began to teach me to sew at a very early age so that I could make all of the dresses I dreamed up become a reality. The ability to make a garment that is uniquely mine, and reflects my tastes and preferences is one of the best things about making your own clothing. I am very excited to offer patterns that will enable seamstresses to do just that. Every woman should have a wardrobe as unique and individual as she is.

 I sewed for the public for many years, specializing in wedding and special occasion wear until my children needed more of my time. Since then I've done pattern testing for several companies over the years and designed for another pattern company. I decided to take the plunge and start offering my own patterns to seamstresses everywhere, with an emphasis on modesty, versatility, functionality, and beauty. Our patterns will not need any major modifications for modesty's sake, and most of the brain work to make things modest has already been done for you.

All patterns feature:

- skirt lengths below the knee and longer

- raised necklines

-sleeves, in multiple lengths

Patterns will be available for woven fabrics, as well as knits and athletic wear.
